Total* Equine

Total*EquineTM

Total*Equine's Goals:

*Give your horse a long, healthy and disease free life.
*Increase stamina, strength, and endurance.
*Eliminate nutritional and degenerative disease.
*Provide a viable boost to the small farm economy.

From the start, owner Darwin Jensen was revolted by the "snake oil" equine supplements on the market.  He had all but given up on finding one that really did the job.  But, when introduced to Total*, several things caught his attention.  This was no "ordinary" product.  Not only did the formula make sense, but the idea of making a complete product, one that would address the whole horse and all the facets of nutritional health, really made sense.

It all came together in 1993 when a manufacturer of equine supplements sought professional assistance from Utah State University to create a superior formula for owners and breeders who wanted ultimate performance from their horses.  Unfortunately, this secret fromula remained privileged information to only a select few breeders for years.  Quite by accident, Darwin was introduced to Total* when a horse he had sold was injured.  After seeing the astounding effect Total* had in restoring health and vitality to this horse, and his own horses, he decided to buy the company.

ABOUT TOTAL*

There are many supplements on the market today.  However, few are formulated, balanced, and buffered to meet the requirements of all categories of horses, and none are a better value.  Total*Equine is a unique formula that has withstood the test of time and created champions.  A wide range of benefits come to horses fed Total*.  Trial reports show that horses fed Total*Equine consistently undergo a noticeable change which can be observed in as little as 15 to 30 days.  These horse are more energetic, skin and hair coat improves, hoof and foot problems are remedied, and the overall health of the horse is measurabley strengthened.  Horse that are consistently fed Total* show no vitamin and mineral deficiencies following regular skeletal reviews and blood tests.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Performance horse-1 oz/day, 1.5 oz/day on performance days.

Weanling, yearling, broodmare-1 oz/day
Lactating mare, mare in foal, stallion in service-1.5oz/day.

NUTRIMIN

One of the ingredients of Total* is what we call Nutrimin.  It is a trace mineral-rich product that comes from ancient deposits in Nevada.  Nutrimin makes up the base ingredient of Total*  Other similar deposits are currently mined and marketed under the name of diatomaceous earth.  These deposits are composed primarily of the exoskeletons of microscopic marine life that flourished eons ago.  The skeleton of the diatom is made up of secreted silicon which is very hard and sharp.

It is the structure of the skeleton that is of interest.  It seems that the sharp, abrasive qualities are highly effective in damaging the bodies of insects and worms, literally grinding them to death inside and out.  The skin and intestinal lining of large animals and humans are impervious to diatomaceous earth and tolerate it very well.  In fact, it has some of the same beneficial effects of natural fiber, scrubbing and cleaning the intestinal wall.
